The Winter Painting Retreat

LANDSCAPE - PORTRAIT - STILL LIFE December 2nd & 3rd - 2 Days - 10AM-5PM £250 Two days of academic painting & drawing in the schools rich & atmospheric environment. In this special two day workshop, students will be introduced to the academic method of painting, through the medium of their cherished masterworks or photo references. Students choose a masterwork and recreate it, in the exact style of the original, or create their own work from their chosen reference. For this special workshop, students have a robust creative input, resolving works which make excellent gifts. Our sponsor framing workshop will build custom frames for each finished work at no extra cost to the student. Each student's approach will be unique, based on their chosen subject, and they will be provided with step by step guidance in how to resolve their piece.
