TUITION, FEES AND FINANCING
Students can pay monthly, through a direct debit, standing order which will automatically pay the tuition fee on an agreed date every month of our studies. This can be cancelled at anytime however it is essential to ensure that your instructor can continuously develop the programme over the time we work together. Our faculty recommends at least one lesson a week or more for three months to see a significant improvement in your skills. Students can also elect to pay for a semester (three months) in full, this is payable via paypal or bank transfer.
Base Hourly Class Tuition Rate: £25
Base Monthly Direct Debit (4 lessons at 2 hours each, 8 hours at £25) : £200
Base Semester of Tuition (3 months, 12 lessons at 2 hours each): £600
CLASS TUITION HOURS
Wednesday to Friday
10AM -12PM, 1PM - 3PM
Base Hourly Private Tuition Rate: £30
Base Monthly Direct Debit (8 lessons at 2 hours each) : £240
Base Semester of Tuition (3 months, 24 lessons at 2 hours each): £720
Students can receive an initial lesson as a taster, for this we require a deposit of £50. Full payment for the semester or commitment to the direct debit will be required when proceeding with regular lessons. You will receive your deposit back after the first payment of the direct debit or upon our receipt of your payment for the semester.
Online tuition fees at the Scottish School of Classical Art are paid through a monthly direct debit, standing order or one payment for three months of tuition.
BASE ONLINE TUITION RATE PER MONTH: £95 payed via a direct debit.
SEMESTER OF TUITION (THREE MONTHS): £285
Students must submit a £50 deposit on commencement of study.
Session Cancellation - Rearrangements - Lateness Policy
No refunds can be made once the contract has been signed and the enrolment form has been submitted, unless provided with a doctor’s note to state medical issues or special circumstances.
If a student has to re-arrange a lesson, they must give at least 48 hours notice. An arrangement can be made to have a double lesson should a student miss a week, this must be agreed on in advance.
The student must be on time so that a full session can be achieved with each visit. They must arrive ten minutes early, learn the palette used for each lesson so you can set it up quickly, neatly and efficiently or have sharpened pencils ready to begin your drawing.
At Scottish School of Classical Art, we are looking for students with a great work ethic and an openness to learning. Those of any skill level can take tuition here, but we do insist on punctuality and enthusiasm.
No previous degree or previous experience with art is required to join the student body.
